Privacy Policy
Last updated May 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how NARL (“Not Another Rocket League”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use this website and related services (the “Service”). NARL is a fan-run, community Rocket League circuit and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Psyonix, Epic Games, Valve, or Discord.
Information we collect
Account information (via Discord). You sign in with Discord. Through Discord's OAuth we receive and store your Discord user ID, username/display name, avatar image URL, and email address. We do not receive your Discord password.
Linked gaming accounts. If you choose to link a Steam or Epic Games account, you authenticate directly with that platform and we store the identifier it returns — your SteamID64 (Steam) or Epic account ID (Epic) — along with the public display name associated with that account. We use this to credit your in-game Rocket League activity to your NARL profile. We never receive your Steam or Epic password. You can unlink these accounts at any time from your Linked accounts page.
Competitive data. We store data about your participation in the league: teams you own or play on, roster membership, invitations, and per-game statistics (such as goals, assists, saves, shots, and demos) captured from match broadcasts and associated with your linked identities.
Technical data. We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to secure the sign-in process. See Cookies below.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Authenticate you and maintain your session.
- Operate the league — managing teams, rosters, schedules, and standings.
- Attribute Rocket League match statistics to the correct player and display them on profiles, team pages, and standings.
- Communicate with you about your account or the league (for example, team invitations).
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
Information that is public
NARL is a public competitive league, so some information is visible to anyone on the site. This typically includes your display name, avatar, the teams and rosters you belong to, and your competitive statistics. The email address and account identifiers you provide are not displayed publicly.
Third-party services
We rely on the following third parties to operate the Service. Your use of the Service involves sharing data with them under their own privacy policies:
- Supabase— authentication and database hosting. Privacy policy
- Discord — sign-in. Privacy policy
- Valve / Steam — optional account linking. Privacy policy
- Epic Games — optional account linking. Privacy policy
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Data retention
We keep your account and competitive data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the league and maintain historical records (such as past seasons and statistics). If you delete your account, we remove your personal account information; aggregated or historical competitive records may be retained.
Your choices and rights
You can unlink your Steam or Epic accounts at any time from your Linked accounts page. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us (see Contact). Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
